Description
What is CBDA?
CBDA (Cannabidiolic Acid) is the raw form of CBD (cannabidiol). It is one of many chemical compounds called ‘cannabinoids’ that are found in the cannabis sativa plant. CBDA has greater bioavailability compared to CBD, making it quicker-acting and more powerful than CBD alone. CBDA does not produce the ‘high’ typically associated with consuming cannabis products, and can therefore be taken at any time in your normal routine.
How much to take?
The amount of CBDA required depends on your ailment, weight and endocannabinoid system. Begin with a low dose (10-20mg per day) and increase until the desired effect is achieved.
Oil or Capsules?
CBDA oil is applied under the tongue using the pipette provided to be absorbed directly by the sublingual glands. Start with a few drops every 3-4 hours and then increase your dose from there until the desired effect is achieved.
CBDA capsules are swallowed whole with water, preferably on an empty stomach. There are three strength varieties available (10mg, 20mg or 40mg per capsule). Start with one capsule every 3-4 hours and then increase your dose from there until the desired effect is achieved.
Selecting the right product strength
Botanican’s CBDA oil comes in three strengths: 600mg, 1200mg and 3000mg specifying the total combined amount of CBD and CBDA (1:1 ratio) in each bottle. The capsules come in 20mg and 40mg options. The amount of CBDA required depends on your ailment, weight, and endocannabinoid system. Begin with a low dose and increase it until the desired effect is achieved.

The "Entourage Effect"
The 'Entourage Effect'
Our full spectrum CBDA products contain all cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids present in the cannabis plant. The entourage effect is the theory that all the compounds in cannabis including cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids work together to enhance the overall effect on the body. To put it simply, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The way the compounds interact synergistically with each other is a crucial part of the therapeutic effect. For this reason, all our products are formulated from a whole plant extraction, meaning we maintain the integrity of the plant’s unique cannabinoid and terpene profile, bringing you ‘full spectrum’ wellness as nature intends.
