Description
Hemp (Cannabis sativa) is also called industrial hemp, plant of the family Cannabaceae and cultivated for its fiber or its edible seeds. Hemp is sometimes confused with the cannabis plants that serve as sources of the drug marijuana. The seeds and flowers are used to extract CBD oil. One of the main ingredients in hemp tea is CBD (Cannabidiol) which is the non-psychoactive component found in the hemp plant. Hemp contains only trace amounts of THC (which causes the “high” in Marijuana). CBD itself comes in oils, tinctures, creams, edibles and more.
